We’ve gone through the most recent five months putting forth a valiant effort to be each other’s stones — to give steadiness when we could and space when we proved unable, giving our all to remind ourselves however much we could by reminding each other that life is momentary and we would be wise to capitalize on the time that we have together on the grounds that when the trouble and the trepidation and the aggravation at last washes away, the one thing that is left is love.
